Maureen's Doggy Daycare is a family-owned business.
Maureen has been involved with dogs for almost her entire life. Besides working in the daycare, she has a lot of dogs of her own, many of which she brings to work with her. She also trains & shows her dogs in obedience, conformation, agility & rally, as well as previously teaching dog obedience classes to children enrolled in the Niagara County 4-H dog program.
She taught Pet Training classes at PetSmart for 5 years & was certified as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She has trained many of her own dogs to be Certified Therapy Dogs.
Maureen has worked as a dog groomer for over 20 years at several grooming salons & veterinary clinics, as well as serving as a Vet & Kennel Assistant.
In her spare time, she rides her horses & participates in a line dancing team which does demos all over WNY.
Caitlyn, Maureen's daughter, is the Co-owner of Maureen's Doggy Daycare. Caitlyn has been involved with dogs literally her whole life, spending her pre-school days with mom in a dog grooming shop & showing her Golden Retriever in her first AKC show when she was 6 years old!
Caitlyn is also involved in training & showing of her dogs in obedience, conformation & agility. She previously worked for several professional dog handlers as an assistant grooming and preparing the dogs for the shows, including the prestigious Westminster and Eukanuba.
Taking care of canines has always been a passion of Maureen and Caitlyn's. They are ecstatic to fulfill their dreams of working with dogs and appreciate each and everyone of their customers for making their dreams a reality!
